London’s 6 Best Summer Party Venues
With the sun having made an appearance in the last couple of weeks, we thought it was high time we brushed off the winter blues and got ourselves into the summer spirit. What better way of doing this than taking a look at our top choices of summer venues in London, from blooming gardens to stunning terraces.
The Orangery at Kensington Palace

Starting off with the Orangery at Kensington Palace. The Orangery has been having a major revamp for the last 5 years, with its return being hotly anticipated. It finally reopened a couple of weeks ago and we can honestly say, the wait is worth it! The Orangery is a wonderfully versatile event space with massive double doors opening onto an expansive lawn. Don’t wait too long to have a look at this beauty – we predict it will get booked up quickly.

Kew Gardens
Next up is one you are probably familiar with, but one we had to mention, the wonderful Kew Gardens. It goes without saying that this venue takes the outdoor biscuit! If you’re looking for manured lawns, bountiful flower beds and a range of spaces to fit all types of events: weddings, dinners, launches, then look no further as this elegant space, that covers all bases.
Westminster Gardens

Hot on the heels of both of these stunning summer party venues is Westminster Gardens, which we think is a hidden gem. Nestled in Westminster Abbey and a stone’s throw away from Parliament, this really is the secret garden of London. The large space allows for a range of luxury events for up to 500 people. Along with activities, including roaming bands, croquet, and food stalls, to name just a few. With the weather being slightly unpredictable in England, a large marquee features in the garden in case anyone needs to take shelter from summer storms.

Somerset House and IET Savoy Place
Stepping away from greenery, we move to Somerset House and IET Savoy Place, both of which have been hiding stunning terraces overlooking the river Thames. Somerset House has an expansive terrace, this sun trap is a great space and due to its size, hosting up to 500 people, it’s great for anyone looking for a venue for their summer party. Then the IET’s terrace is a little smaller, holding up to 200 guests. Located just around the corner from Waterloo, its position could not be more accessible to those travelling in, and with stunning views of London it really is a great space.
Two Temple Place Courtyard

Last, by no means least, is a slightly smaller but wonderful event space, the courtyard outside the Two Temple Place. It is a fantastically versatile venue which makes guests feel right at home. As guests enter the gated venue, they can host a drinks reception in the stunning courtyard before heading inside for a seated dinner. Perfect for weddings and dinner parties this summer season.
