Nine hundred and sixty three tons of steel suspended on top of you as you have dinner under the ship’s hull. Sounds a little unnerving when you think about it!
The Cutty Sark is the only place in the world where you can literally have dinner underneath such a magnificent ship.

Built in 1869, and having sailed the world many times over, the Cutty Sark sailed the world many times over, transporting everything from grand pianos to tea, coal, and livestock. Greenwich has been home to this iconic vessel since the 1950′s.

Since its re-opening in 2012, the magnificently re-furbished Cutty Sark resides in a sensational Dry Berth. What a home it is too! Suspended three metres above the ground, not only can you view the Ship’s glorious copper hull but you can also dine underneath it.

With so many events venues across London it sometimes feels that no experience is unique… however wait till you see guests’ faces as they walk down the stairs into the Dry Berth.

Presented with a stunning long table under the gleaming ‘undercarriage’ it is impossible for your jaw not to open. The beauty of the challenge is creating an event that is just as impressive as the setting itself. That is where the fun starts…

It is only a short trip to the Cutty Sark from central London and an adventure for your guests by boat. The ship is located next to the Thames and private transfers can whisk guests by boat from central London in under 30 minutes.
London is stunning at night and the journey back will take guests past Canary Wharf and many of London’s historic docks before heading under Tower Bridge. Once into central London you can pass landmarks such as the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. Guests can be dropped at one of the many piers throughout the centre of the city.

The Cutty Sark is also a short distance or boat ride from the Excel conference centre. You can host up to 270 for dinner or 400 for a reception although it looks equally stunning for smaller numbers.
